MOUNT SINAI CHRISTIAN SCHOOL

Mount Sinai Christian School (MSCS) consists of more than 100 students from preschool through tenth grade. The school has grown to have over a dozen staff including missionaries, teachers, and teachers’ assistants. The school is one of the primary ways through which TOLM reaches out to the community.
The school is located in Magdalena, Milpas Altas, Guatemala. The school is a ministry of Mount Sinai Evangelical Mission Church and has a partnership with Colegio Hebron, a Christian school in Guatemala City. Our advanced curriculum comes from Colegio Hebron and it provides children with an education that is equivalent to the one level higher than the curriculum in public schools. This curriculum is a Christian curriculum so as students are learning each subject, they learn about God as well.
In addition to the curriculum, students engage in interactive activities and projects such as presentations, creating artwork, and participating in music, computer, physical education classes, and more. MSCS wants to see local children impacted through biblical principles and values along with outstanding academic material that will provide them with a strong Christian education in which they will encounter Christ’s love and His message of salvation.
